Heroes of Orders &Chaos Game Reviews
Game DescriptionTeam up and fight with your friends in the first Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) for mobile devices! Gather your teammates, strengthen your Heroes and wipe out the enemy base in thrilling, addictive and fast-paced games.
In Sinskaald Rift, a mysterious region of Haradon, immortal warriors have been fighting for centuries. They are known as the Heroes of Order and Chaos!
it’s not difficult to understand the basics. Here’s the basic breakdown. You control a single hero of your choosing. Gameloft has a handful of free characters to choose from which will rotate every week. If you want, you can spend in-game currency to unlock the other characters. Once you pick your hero, you can either enter a 3 vs. 3 or 5 vs. 5 battle. You can either go online and play against real players, or play a local game against bots. It’s not a bad idea to go up against some bots to get the hang of things.
Once the battle begins, you will be accompanied by at least two other heroes and an army on AI-controlled soldiers. The soldiers act as fodder since the main targets are other heroes. However, killing soldiers will earn you gold and experience. The main goal is to storm your enemies base and take down the primary source of their power, but you’ll have to take down towers on the way.
In my first match, I played as a hero whose main weapons were duel pistols. I was able to take down a few soldiers without much trouble, but it was a whole new ballgame once the opposing heroes showed up. I was killed in no time and ended up respawning back at my base. After repeating that process a handful of times, I learned I could unlock skills for my character after leveling up. With a new arsenal of attacks, I was able to become a more formidable opponent. I used the gold earned from battle to buy new equipment that increased my damage and speed. I still died quite a bit, but each re spawn resulted in my team getting a little closer to victory.
Since spawn times get longer the higher you level, I began to rethink my approach to battle. This isn’t like a first-person shooter where dying constantly has no real consequence. The longer I was out of battle, the more the enemy encroached on my base. There’s a hit and run tactic to this game. Once I took too much damage, I retreated into the woods so I could fast travel back to my base to heal. It may seem like a waste of time, but waiting to re spawn takes longer.
My first couple of co-op battles went quite bad. I don’t know what happened, but my team and I were quickly out leveled by the other team. I blame a lack of teamwork. We had a support class, fighter class and defender class in our team, but we weren’t fighting together. Keep that in mind when you play online. There really is no “I” in team.
I think Gameloft has something special on its hand. Assuming they can keep the hackers at bay, Heroes of Order & Chaos has a long life ahead of it.
